All hands are on deck as the fastest growing Private Higher Education Institution in the South West Region prepares to graduate hundreds of well trained and competent students come Friday November 11th  2022. Of course success is worth celebrating and BUIB shall do so come November 11th 2022 as from 8.am.

BUIB Kick-Starts 2022/23 Academic Year

The 2022/2023 school year for Biaka University Institute of Buea (BUIB) has kicked off with plenty of enthusiasm from both teachers and students of this Institution. Commenced on October 5th 2022, Lecturers have embarked on an Academic and Research planning session aimed to remind themselves of the roles and responsibilities of lecturers in this area as they accompany students throughout the academic year.  Opening the session this 7th day of October 2022, the Vice Chancellor  of BUIB Dr. Mrs. Francisca Hongla Biaka while welcoming the guest speaker called on staff to embrace new ideas for the good of the institution.

The improvement of qualified staff for effective teaching cannot be over emphasized. It is worth mentioning that Biaka University Institute of Buea this year has opened its arms to two new schools- the School of Agricultural Sciences and the School of Engineering and Technology.  Freshmen of these new Schools together with those in the Scholl of Management Sciences, Health Sciences and Education would be receiving orientation in the days ahead.  They shall equally be officially inducted during the Matriculation ceremony slated for November 2023.
