Under graduate students from Biaka University institute of Buea have begun their first semester examinations for the 2020/2021 academic year. More than 2000 students from the School of Management Sciences and the School Of Health Sciences are taking part in the end of semester examination under strict COVID-19 measures According to the head of exams Mr Mungosi Leonard, the exams this year will take longer than expected due to COVID-19 measures put in place to accommodate the number of students. The exams officially started on the 9th of February 2021 and are expected to end on the 2nd of March 2021 for the undergraduate programs. Meanwhile, post graduate students are expected to begin their exams on March 9th 2021
According to Ngu Belavia, first year Accounting student in the school of Management Sciences, university exams are quite different from high school and she says she feels less pressured ‘‘It’s really different with the University” she said ”I attempted all questions.
