Normally, the Professional and Academic/Professional streams do not merge, but we provide an option called Top-Up BSc, allowing HND holders to obtain a BSc.

 

Key Points About Our Top-Up Program:

The number of credits required is crucial.

At Biaka University, our Top-Up requires a minimum of 84 credits, compared to other private universities that require only 60.

The University of Buea requires 90 credits — we are closely aligned with their standard, and they have approved our credit value.

 

Many private universities avoid the proper Top-Up model because it involves more courses, more teaching hours, and therefore more cost. At Biaka, we maintain the same affordable tuition of 425,000 FCFA, covering everything, without charging extra for these additional credits.

 

Why This Matters for Your Future

With our Top-Up BSc, you earn your degree in three years.

The BSc certificate is universally accepted, enabling you to continue your studies abroad with ease.

An HND or BTech alone often limits opportunities internationally, as they are primarily recognized in Cameroon.

 

We do not offer BTech and do not admit BTech holders into our Master’s programs because it follows a different stream.
